Our 2,000th homebuyer loves the quiet nature of Canyon Falls
An avid cyclist who bikes up to 60 miles along area roads on weekends, Sean Perdew looked closely at area communities when he decided to downsize into a new home.
Living in Flower Mound for 11 years, Sean was familiar with Canyon Falls and other communities in the area. He wanted a quick move-in, and when his agent suggested he look at one of the final Coventry homes in Canyon Falls, he came out for a visit.
Freshly completed, the home had everything Sean wanted, including the right amount of space and a home office for his job in IT.
Sean also liked the quiet, natural environment of Canyon Falls, where more than 450 acres are devoted to parks, trails, recreation facilities and natural open space such as the Graham Branch Creek preserve.
“It all worked out, and in the end, I like it much better here in Canyon Falls,” Sean said. “There’s a lot of nature here and also some nice topography; it’s not all flat.”
A road cyclist, Sean hasn’t spent much time exploring the approximately 15 miles of trails in Canyon Falls. But he says the location is closer to the country roads he loves to explore in his free time, and there’s less car traffic getting there.
We welcomed Sean with a gift basket at the Canyon Falls Club. Now that he’s happily settled in as our 2,000th homeowner, there are fewer than 100 opportunities to own a brand-new home in the community.
Two thousand families can’t be wrong – explore our new homes while there’s still time to move in and enjoy our amenities, activities and friendly neighbors.
(It seems like yesterday that we welcomed our 1,000th homebuyers, the McLaughlin family.)
