Volunteering with the NCPAA, a nonprofit citizens group that supports the Northlake Police Department, “fits me like a glove,” says Canyon Falls resident Richard Limato. Being active in the group has given him the chance to meet new friends and raise funds for worthy causes such as Snack Packs for Kids.
Canyon Falls resident Dana Thornburg is the executive director of the nonprofit Food Saved Me Institute. Based in Southlake, it teaches nutrition and healthy eating in North Texas and across the globe.
