Argyle ISD ranks as No. 1 Best School District in Denton County
The Argyle Independent School District ranks as the No. 1 Best School District in Denton County in the 2022 school rankings from Niche, which ranks schools, colleges and places to live nationwide based on public data and user reviews.
Niche gives Argyle ISD an overall A+ grade, with additional A+ marks for Academics, Teachers, College Prep, and Clubs & Activities.
Other top Niche rankings for Argyle ISD include:
- #1 Best School District for Athletes in Denton County
- #1 Safest School District in Denton County
- #6 Best School District in Dallas-Fort Worth Area (out of 83 total districts ranked)
- #1 District with the Best Teachers in DFW Area
Statewide, Argyle ISD shines in the 2022 Niche rankings. Out of 1,018 Texas school districts ranked by Niche, Argyle ISD is the No. 8 Best School District in Texas. It also ranks No. 4 statewide in Districts with the Best Teachers in Texas, and No. 8 in Best School Districts for Athletes.
The Argyle ISD campuses zoned to Canyon Falls also received stellar 2022 Niche report cards.
Argyle Middle School has an overall A grade, with an A for Academics and an A+ for Teachers. It ranks as the No. 6 Best Public Middle School in Denton County, and No. 3 in Best Public Middle School Teachers.
Argyle High School, located in Canyon Falls, has an A+ overall Niche grade, with more A grades for Academics, Teachers, College Prep and Clubs & Activities. It ranks No. 4 in Best Public High Schools in Denton County, and No. 2 in Best High Schools for Athletes.
Argyle West Elementary, opened in 2019, is too new to rank, because it takes several years of test data for Niche to rank schools. We are optimistic about future rankings for this state-of-the-art school, which has an innovative design focusing on collaborative learning, technology and reading.
