Canyon Falls plans fun events throughout the year
Canyon Falls’ Lifestyle Director, Tara Spivey, has been busy planning a full year of resident events and activities for the community.
Here’s a quick look at what’s planned through the end of the year, with most events taking place at the beautiful new Canyon Falls Club, both inside the clubhouse and outdoors at the swim complex and the event lawns. (Exact dates and events are subject to change.)
For a year ‘round happy hour, Canyon Falls hosts Wine Down Wednesdays and the Bottoms Up Beer Club on alternating months, providing equal time for wine- and beer-loving residents. At Yappy Hour, dogs can join in the fun as their people enjoy wine and beer.
Several times a year, Canyon Falls hosts New Resident Socials, inviting the newest residents to meet new friends and learn more about their community.
There are monthly fitness classes to help residents get the most out of the Club's state-of-the-art Fitness Center, along with self-defense classes for adults and kids. Bike Safety is the topic of another class.
There's also a series of Music on the Lawn events, featuring live concerts. The last concert of the year, in late September, will include a chili cook-off.
At the Dive-In Movie series, residents can relax around the pool or in the water on the lounging shelves to enjoy family-friendly features.
Canyon Falls celebrates the holidays and milestones throughout the year, including the Easter Egg Hunt and event, the Back to School Bash, and pumpkin painting in October. December brings the annual Holiday Party and Holiday Light Contest.
Other events include a Lady Bug Release, Teen Night and an impromptu event.
