4 Pet-Friendly Home Tips
We would all do anything for our furry kids, but they can provide challenges from time to time — especially when enjoying your new digs. Here are a few low-key ways to make your pets at home!
Vacuum regularly
Vacuum your house twice a week when your pet is shedding. Unfortunately, pet hair has an odor and contains dirt-attracting oils that can soak into carpet fiber.
Pet-Friendly Fabric
Believe it or not, there is such a thing. It’s called Crypton, a synthetic fabric that’s resistant to stains, smells, bacteria and muddy paws.
Washable Fabric Coverlets
If your pet sleeps with you, expect accidents. If you have a beautiful silk comforter, take it off the bed, and replace it with an all-cotton cover, which can take the wear and tear of nails, drool, mud and hair.
Matchy-Matchy
When choosing colors for your home, consider finding something that matches your pet’s fur color. This provides for some camouflage during the heavy shedding seasons.
